Although you aren't allowed to camp in public parks, camping sites are available at Roy West's accommodations in Tutuila. This guy offers rooms for rent in the village, and he also owns a seluded cabin in the Amalau Bay. Tent sites are to be found at Tafeu Bay, west of Vatia. It's better to call Roy, he'll help you for sure with accommodation, and will also know what to tell you if he hasn't any free sites(tel. 258-3527)
