Jean P. Haydon Museum, American Samoa

Posted 1 year ago by avatar dulio in response to avatar frank's question: I've heard that the towns in the islands of the American Samoa have a lot to offer as touristic sights. Where should I go first? (give a different answer) .

On the island of Tutuila, apart from the Governor's mansion(important destination for those interested in polittics), tourists will find the Jean P. Haydon Museum, that hosts exhibits on natural history, tapa making and tattooing, war clubs, canoes and old photos. Sadie's Restaurant, old guesthouse where lived Somerset Maugham, could be considered for some tasty seafood.
